Hey there! My name is Garrett (he/him/his). Being human is tough. For me, growing up as a queer kid in the south certainly had its challenges. For a long time I felt that these challenges were all too big to face. Not until my mid 20’s did I finally decide to try therapy, and it changed my life. From that point on, I knew at some point I wanted to work in this field. Now I get to work with people and face their challenges alongside them.

As a therapist, I primarily utilize Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help people learn about themselves on a deeper level and learn how to construct new narratives of growth and resilience.

I have a passion for working with the queer/poly communities. As a member of these groups, I recognize many of us face unique challenges, and therapy is a wonderful and safe place to explore them. I also believe that therapy is a powerful tool that we can utilize to explore and reconnect with the uncomfortable and frustrating parts of us that may appear to be the source of all our problems. Learning to get to know and love these parts can lead to powerful growth.

While I do love working with these communities, I really do love working with a diverse group of people. Everyone’s story is important and worth being heard, including yours!
